  • Led technical team that developed and implemented industry-leading distributed branch teller system that provided first true “paperless” branch banking capability.  Implemented hardware, software, network and distributed systems in over 700 locations in less than one year.  Managed 75 staff, $15 million total budget.

  • Implemented infrastructure and systems to support chip based credit cards (SmartCards).   Managed multiple vendors to launch within 90 days of decision.

  • Converted existing credit card ad hoc client server systems characterized by “stovepipe” structure and reactive, non-strategic growth into industry-leading, fully-integrated, secure, scalable and stable browser based architecture capable of supporting company’s exponential growth of up to 1 million net new accounts per quarter.  Attained 99+% availability.

      Business related projects

  • Held P&L responsibility for securitization servicing subsidiary with $5 billion+ commercial mortgage portfolio.   Raised agency rating from unsatisfactory to above average and made business profitable in second year.

  • Instituted processes and controls, automated systems and portfolio management function.  Implemented image-based system to support conversion of 2500 commercial loans during major bank integration.

  • Directed technology for start-up Joint Venture.  Held P&L responsibility for servicing, cash settlement/ordering and vendor management for 215 unbranded ATMs.  Planned migration to biometrics-enabled ATMs placed in casinos.  Managed 10 staff and $17 million budget.
